Day 14.
Decided by now that you probably know the title, and I shouldn't really have to Put it as 50-35 and would try to think of more creative titles.

Started off with the most amazing sun rise. Best I have seen here in Ireland. Unfortunately my camera was in the boot of the car...

Took a couple of photos while walking to work from the bus stop.
This little dude still hanging on strong to the keel of a yacht which has been taken out the water and pressure washed...
50-35 Project Day 13Posted by Jake Woodnutt on Sun 9th Nov 2014 @ 1:39 pm
Had a relaxing day in today. Had a good Skype with Helene and Ben to discuss our plans for when they come over next week. I am very much looking forward to seeing them both here in Dublin, even if it is for two days. I have decided my posts and the project is lacking people. I love taking photos of people and that is what I actually do. As a wedding photographer its very important to be able to see a photo when its there, whether is street lights, little details which the bride and groom have spent a long time organising which they tend not necessarily to notice on the day, and people. As the style of wedding photography that I do. I tend not to tell anyone to 'Look at the camera' as this is not natural and people tend to get annoyed. I like the natural photographs that people don't notice the photo has been taken, the natural smile and no one telling them how to pose. For the next week starting Monday I am going to focus on People living their lives here in Dublin.

A few snaps from work, Was really rainy on the way to work today. Made the mistake of taking all my lunch things in a paper bag... Completely disintegrated! Can't write much today i'm afraid. Got a relaxed weekend this weekend so will catch up then!

50-35 Project Day 10Posted by Jake Woodnutt on Thu 6th Nov 2014 @ 8:53 am
Only two today i'm afraid, been a little bit crazy busy the last couple of days and I haven't really had a chance to pick up my camera. Eva's Birthday today and her sister Genty is still visiting. My days have been busy and consisting of
* Getting up at 630AM to make tea for Eva, making smoothy for us both to take to work, making lunch. then get ready for work.
*715AM Leave the flat and go to car and drive with Eva, Faye and Lisa to Ardmore where they go to work, I then get on a bus and go to Newcastle.
845AM I get off the bus and walk 10 minutes down the road to Work.

6PM I leave work to get the bus to Greystone.
630PM I wait for DART to take me from Greystone to Sandymount Startion, While on DART I do my blog update and Emails.
730PM I walk from Sandymount station home.
745PM I have a cold shower and put the hot water boost on for Eva when she gets in. Make Tea and get ready for bed.

Busy days and lacking of time to pick up my camera. I am trying to take as many pictures as my days happen but they are very similar to the picture you have seen already. That is one reason this project is so good for me is that it is making me 'Look' much more for photographs.

50-35 Project Day 9Posted by Jake Woodnutt on Tue 4th Nov 2014 @ 11:21 pm
Winter seemed to sneak in during the night and it was very cold here in Dublin today. Have been at work all day and then last minute shopping for a couple of little prezzies for Eva's Birthday tomorrow.

Really cold now and starting to think about Pre Christmas Portrait shoots. If you are interested in a portrait shoot Either in Dublin or Alderney, Please get in contact with me as I am getting very busy with work! I should be flying back to Alderney at the end of November but it may depend on how many shoots I have back in Alderney.

In terms of School Photos- I don't think we will be doing a set up in the school this year. But if you would like a school photo with wearing school uniform and with one of our backdrops, then Please get in contact with me as I will also be setting this up at the end of November.

OK so to apply for a tax code here in Dublin. The office is open ridiculous hours. So you kinda have to take a day off work to apply for a code so that you can then give them money from your salary. Been a very stressful day as had to set up an Irish Bank account, Apply for a tax code and try and find a suitable birthday prezzi for Eva.

To be perfectly honest I am not very happy with todays photos. My camera battery was low and my mind wasn't in it. Saw a few nice shots, enjoy!
50-35 Project Day 7Posted by Jake Woodnutt on Mon 3rd Nov 2014 @ 8:59 am
Today we went into town to do our weekly shop. This is Fallon and Byrne- Our favourite shop! A massive range of foods, 100 types of fruit and veg and all sorts of cooking oils and pasta. Also if you are after some cheese there is a huge selection of cheese and cured hams. And then downstairs. A great wine cellar. It's great to go in there on a sunday afternoon and get lots of great food for the week, and some great snacky foods for dinner!

Really enjoying this photography project, just a little difficult uploading them with this dodgy internet at home.
Eva's tea heaven. Give it a few years and there will be a wall like this in our place just covered in 100 types of tea in barrels.
50-35 Project Day 6Posted by Jake Woodnutt on Sun 2nd Nov 2014 @ 6:26 pm
Not many photos of halloween i'm afraid, after work I got home and had Eva's friends- Jess and Genty visiting from London. We found the last pumpkin for sale that we could find and Genty did a great job of carving it. We went out last night for dinner and then went out for a few drinks after.

My internet is really playing up here in the flat so not sure if I might be able to do todays update tomorrow but will do my best. Took some awesome photos today of our favourite shop- Fallon and Byrne. Which Is an AWESOME food shop which has a massive variety of fruit and veg, love going there on a sunday and getting our weeks fruit and veg and then choosing from the massive selection of Cheese!!! Will update tomorrow if possible
50-35 Project Day 5Posted by Jake Woodnutt on Fri 31st Oct 2014 @ 6:23 pm
Happy Halloween!!!

I am sorry for the lacking in halloween photos today. I tend to upload the days photos as i'm sitting on the DART home as I don't have very good internet at home... I will take some photos of Halloween tonight and will upload them on tomorrows blog update. I am finding it very difficult to keep up in the day at the moment, busy doing work I find it hard to find time to take photographs. I can often walk down a road and find loads of photogenic places and find the motivation to take take take. But unfortunately today was one of them days where my mind was in 100 places thinking about work and what I have to do that I was not in the mind set to see the photogenic shots.

I have the day to myself tomorrow and may well go into town so hopefully a good exciting update tomorrow. but for now. 'Rust and Weather'

I hope you all have a good Halloween and cheers to the weekend!
